way too many posts today

Magda...haven't seen Guido in a long time. Sad, because he has 2 pieces of mail (one from you of course). Maybe the new people have been working reception in the evening and don't know who he is? I'm keeping my eyes peeled.
Maurice...strangely enough, I'm going to miss your "compliments" like "You look like a 2nd grade teacher" and "you smell like sunscreen"
I'm praying for you lots

i just wanted to stop by and say hey, as i was perusing the shelter blog network and saw the link to your site. i'm afraid you don't actually know me, but i'm guessing that more than likely you've heard of me in passing, seeing as you've taken up the torch as sole canadian living on the willemsstraat, or so i've heard. i was that girl from aug 04-aug 05, save one glorious month [which just happened to coincide with canadian thanksgiving] when ryan [a guy from BC] worked in the Jordan. he wasn't living on the willemsstraat though. that was back in the day when all of the guys [except two poor souls that lived with us 25 girls in the staffhouse] lived on the Schinkelstraat or in the attic. all that to say : stay strong girl. fight for our distinct culture, and for being recognized as "the cannuck". i'm no patriot, but i know its difficult being a minority that isn't regarded as such. may God bless you in your shelter time, no matter how long or short it may be, and may He direct your paths each day in that wonderful place. i'm thinking about and praying for you guys. God zal met je zijn.

blessings sister,

alicia.

Oh... Meghan, it's such a bummer that he doesn't come. I always wanted to see his face when actually there IS a mail for him... and you say that there are 2.
Say hi to all the weird people who come.
Miss you!
